A delicious rounded Riesling style blended from the fruit of two famous valleys, to harmonise each areas unique characteristics.
Varietal: 100% Riesling
Region: 79% Rowland Flat, Barossa Valley and 21% Clare Valley
Vineyard and Vinification:
Fruit from our 12 year old vines was blended with fruit from the Clare Valley region which is world renowned for quality Riesling. The Rowland Flat
area of the Barossa Valley develops delicate orange blossom characters which compliment the more crisp citrus flavours of the Clare Valley
component. A wine of outstanding fruit and freshness that will become an even better marriage with time.
Crushed in an air bag press and the free run juice allowed to settle out, then racked and cool fermented to 4 grams per litre residual sugar.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw in colour. Delightful flavours of ripe tropical, floral and citrus with a soft refreshing palate. The Barossa fruit component develops delicate orange blossom characters
which compliment the more crisp citrus flavours of the Clare Valley blend. A wine of outstanding fruit and freshness that will become an even better marriage with time, especially under the screw cap.
Alcohol: 13% v/v.
Cellar: Now to 5 years.
